What is the Family Nutrition Program?

The Ohio State University Extension Family Nutrition Program in Portage County targets limited resource audiences and food stamp eligible recipients in order to provide valuable education in the areas of nutrition, money management, and food safety.  Educational programs and demonstrations at community sites will meet the needs of individuals and families in Portage County.



How Can I Participate in the Family Nutrition Program?

You may contact the Extension office  at (330) 296-6432 for a listing of programs being offered in your county. In addition Portage County agencies and groups can also contact the office to discuss possible programming efforts.  All programs are offered to clientele on a nondiscriminatory basis.
