A satellite workshop designed to explore the pros and cons of converting existing agricultural buildings into fish culture facilities.  This workshop is funded by the North Central Regional Aquaculture Center and will be broadcast to several sites throughout the Midwest.

8:30 - 9:15 AM:  Registration
 
9:15 – 9:30 AM: Welcome, Laura Tiu, Aquaculture Specialist, Ohio State University
 
9:30 – 11:00 AM: Dr. Dave Smith, Freshwater Farms of Ohio, Inc. – Converting Hog Barns for Trout Culture.
 
11:00 – 12:30 AM: Jason Bradley, Aqua Manna - Case studies of converting existing buildings for aquaculture use.
 
12:30 – 1:30 PM: Lunch (provided)
 
1:30 – 2:30  PM: Gary Miller, The good, the bad and the ugly.  My thoughts on raising and selling fish from a recirculating system.
 
2:30 – 3:30 PM: Dan Kaiser, Meiring Poultry and Fish Farm – Our experience converting an old poultry building for aquaculture use.

Presentations will present the various opinions of the speakers and should result in some lively question and answer segments.
