The mission of the Student Chapter of  the Wildlife Society at The Ohio State University is to increase wildlife awareness at Ohio State.  We go about this in a number of ways, from our meetings and web page to the activities held throughout the year. The main goals of the society are as follows:

I.    Develop and maintain professional standards for wildlife research and management.

II.   Enhance knowledge and technical capabilities of wildlife managers.

III.  Advance professional stewardship of wildlife resources and their habitats.

IV.  Advocate the use of sound biological information for wildlife policy decisions.

V.   Increase public awareness and appreciation of wildlife professions.
