The OSU Seed Biology program has outstanding research facilities containing state-of-the-art equipments. The Program has a dedicated laboratory for research focusing on seed technology. Equipment includes four germinators, a thermogradient table, forced-air oven for moisture determinations, seed vigor testing equipment to include an accelerated aging chamber, cold room, conductivity meters, incubator for TZ testing and the OSU Seed Vigor Imaging System. Seed counting and germination planting equipment are also available. Equipment for other aspects of Seed Biology research are available from faculty in the Program as well as the Ornamental Plant Germplasm Center.
