SWEET CORN 101

The following are a series of slide presentations on sweet corn production. While not every critical aspect of production is offered below, this collection can be considered as essential material for both the advanced grower and one who has just entered into sweet corn production. Some of the presentations are complete with notes or self- explanatory in nature, while others will require additional resources for further comprehension of the material. One possible reference is the Ohio Vegetable Production Guide which is available online from the home page of this VegNet web site.

About The Presentations

These slide presentations are offered in two formats: 1) online html version; and 2) as a ppt (Powerpoint file). You can select the online version if you don't have Powerpoint on your computer. For either format, you will need a fast internet connection since many of these files are large. File size is indicated for each presentation. To save time online with your internet connection, you can right click on the 'ppt' version, then from the pull down menu, select: 'save target as'. This will allow you to download the ppt file and view it offline as long as you have Powerpoint.

ppt = Powerpoint; Mbytes = Megabytes; KB = kilobytes (1000 KB = 1 megabyte).
